Mellby Gård renews sponsorship with Wictor Petersson Mellby Gård has chosen to renew its sponsorship with shot-putter Wictor Petersson. The continued support enables Wictor to fully pursue his athletic career, with the goal of earning a spot at the 2028 Olympics in Los Angeles. "We are very happy and proud of our collaboration with Wictor and impressed with his progress so far. Therefore, it feels natural to support him towards another Olympics. We are really looking forward to seeing what he can achieve in the coming years," says Johan Andersson, CEO of Mellby Gård. But will Wictor Petersson have competition in the ring going forward? Have you heard the news about the upcoming changes in Mellby Gård's board and management? From January 2025, our CEO Johan Andersson will take over as chairman of the board in Mellby Gård from his father, Rune Andersson. At the same time, he will hand over the role of CEO to Mikael Helmerson. Sven Knutsson becomes deputy CEO. - Of course, it’s an offer you would not even consider turning down, when asked. It will be interesting to continue the development that Johan has been working on for the past eleven years and see how we can do it moving forward, says Mikael Helmerson. Listen to the interview with Oscar Jacobson! At the store Sustain by Oscar Jacobson, the customer is offered sustainable garments that have had a previous owner. The customers can hand in their old garments from Oscar Jacobson and receive a percentage of the sale when the garment is sold. This gives every piece of garment a longer life and the customer the opportunity to shop more sustainably. - We work with products that are intended to live long. Both from a quality aspect as well as from a fashion perspective. Approximately 85 percent of our negative environmental footprint comes from the production process.
